Space Waves Tips and Tricks

None of this is magic. It is the stuff that actually moves the percentage bar.

1. Move before you need to

The arrow takes a moment to change direction, so the move has to start before the obstacle is close. If you wait until a slope is right in front of you, you are already too late. Train yourself to react to the next hazard, not the current one.

2. Climb before inclines, because gliding only goes down

Letting go will never take you up a hill. If a rising section is coming, be in your upward motion before it starts.

3. Stay low near circular spikes and gears

Trying to hop over a spinning gear is riskier than slipping under it. The lower path usually leaves more room to recover.

4. Zigzag in tight spaces

When walls close in above and below, tap continuously and keep the zigzag small. The aim is to keep moving forward in a nearly straight line, not to make big swings.

5. Use the crash percentage

Every crash shows how far you got. If you keep dying at the same number, the problem is one section. Practice that section and stop replaying the rest.

6. Use practice mode on stubborn levels

Practice restarts you from the last crash. Use it to drill the hard part, then try a full run once it feels steady.

7. Take breaks

After a dozen crashes in a row your timing gets worse, not better. Step away for five minutes and the same level often feels easier.

8. Warm up on a green level

Your hands need a minute to find the rhythm. Run an easy level first, then move to the one that has been beating you.

Frequently asked questions

How do I stop panic tapping?

Slow down your thumb on purpose. Short, even taps beat frantic ones, and a steady rhythm is easier to correct than a random one.

Is practice mode worth it?

Yes, for any level where you reach the same wall again and again. Restarting from your last crash saves minutes of replaying the easy part.

Should I use keyboard or mouse?

Whichever feels more consistent for you. Mouse, Space and W all do the same thing.

Why does my score vary so much between runs?

Timing windows are tiny, so small differences in when you press add up. Warm up with an easy level before a hard one.
